    • ]]>     Summer time has arrived and the old dogs want to be out.  Now may be the time to try out the Swift Dog Park.  10 acres of doggy heaven.  I’m doubtful that when the heat hits it will be owner heaven.  There is nary a tree to be found on the site, but hopefully some are in the works.  Dogs must be registered to enter the park.  Unlike a lot of planned parks Swift figured out that sometimes the little dogs shouldn’t run with the big dogs.  The area for 20lb and under dogs is separate and easy to access when you first enter.  You won’t have to worry about apologizing to a retriever owner that your Chihauhau beat-up his dog.
